Taco Bar
I've been using Mestizo for my catering needs, and I can't say enough good things about them. I always go for the ground beef and shredded chicken options, and they're always a big hit with my group. Plus, they include all the trimmings and condiments, so there's nothing for me to stress over. The food is always packaged perfectly, making it super easy to handle, and the delivery service is incredibly convenient. One of the best parts is that I've never had to worry about running out of food -- they provide a great value for the price. Additionally, Mestizo makes the ordering and payment process a breeze. I highly recommend them for your catering needs!
Shrimp & Crab Quesadilla
I could literally eat this every day. The shrimp and crab are finely chopped and blended together, so there aren't any large chunks. The filling has the consistency and flavor of a rich, creamy mornay sauce, all encased within a perfectly grilled tortilla. This quesadilla tastes so indulgent and I'm confident you won't find this anywhere else. Mestizo really nailed it with this one! It's absolutely delicious!
Tequila Old Fashioned
This is a great start. So very smooth and tasty. The tequila lightens the old fashion.
Duck Empanadas
I have tried almost everything here. You can not go wrong with anything you order.
Pescado
I love the sweet potato crusted fish, which pairs so great with the shrimp and crab and purple rice. You can not go wrong with this meal.
Taco Sampler
I just wanted to share my recent discovery with you! I came across the taco sampler on the happy hour menu, and let me tell you, it's my new go-to meal. The value for the price is outstanding, and the flavor is absolutely unbeatable. The grilled shrimp taco is probably my favorite, but honestly, they're all really good. I wish I could keep this little gem to myself, but they truly deserve a great review. I've already taken my family there to try it, and the service is always on point. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Cauliflower Bowl
The cauliflower bowl with chicken is amazing! It's served warm with avocado slices.
GF Frisco Taco
I am still fairly new to the gluten and dairy free diet, so it was a pleasant surprise that the meal felt normal and tasted great. The meal was a set of three steak tacos on soft corn tortillas with cilantro, pico de gallo, grilled onions with a zing of lemon or lime, and topped with avocado. The portion was great too. I was almost full halfway through the second taco. I took the rest home, of course. I guess I'm now a taco person.

Every single time I visit Mestizos this is a MUST have!!! Jim has the best margaritas in all of Baton Rouge!
3 Pork Tamales
These tamales are Smokey in the best way possible! They are the most authentic tamales.
